A Night In The Pink Room

I'm a firm believer in magic. And the most magical place I've ever been to is The Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Every room is decorated differently, some more extravagant than others, but all with their own charms. Our room for the first night of our enchanting, girls-weekend road trip was in its own little tower, on the far side of the hotel closest to the mountains. We had to climb up 4 flights to get there so we all felt like we were in Rapunzel’s tower. The walls were glittery pink, and all the furniture and carpet was pink as well. We ordered pizza, opened some wine, and watched True Romance in our king sized bed. We took pictures, ate cookies, and acted like the all around girliest girls we could be, in our pink Barbie dream room.
