On my very last night in New York, I hung out with two of my favorite NY boys, Cole and Joe (and Joe's puppy), and then subway'ed to Bowery Electric to see my friend Har Mar Superstar play with Polica and Marijuana Deathsquads.
Man, have I got distracted from posting my New York pictures. Here's some seminar pictures from my day at Teen Vogue Fashion University 2011. Amy Astley welcomed the lucky few who were accepted this year, then interviewed Michael Kors in the Hudson Theatre.
After Michael Kors, I saw Alexander Wang's seminar, then headed over to Jessica Simpson's beautiful showroom. All the walls were covered with drool-worthy shoes. I have to say it was hard not to stuff some in my bag to take with me.
After BJ, Chris Benz stepped up with his bubble pink hair. Then back to the Hudson Theatre for a panel discussion about the power of the internet...which I think we all know about.
I got to do this really fun photoshoot with Ernest of Five15 photography, wearing one of my favorite dresses, and pretending I was an old fashion singer. For the shoot, I sang along in real life with one of my favorite crooning songs, What Kind of Fool Am I by Deer Tick, as well as a long playlist of Marilyn Monroe showtunes.
This year, my friend Kota's accessory line Bubble Bands, made it to the RAW Artists competition for 2011. There was a show at Playhouse in Hollywood where I got to model for her line and bask in the pink glittery girlishness of the night.
