Many people cite Anna Karina as a fashion and beauty muse, and well, I'm not going to lie, I'm definitely one of them. She takes knee-length school skirts to a new kind of sexy, layers on tons of eyeliner without being the least bit trashy, and shows pig tails can be worn past the age of 8.

HOLY CEREMONY

new ADORABLE (how could it logistically not be?) video by Opening Ceremony starring J. Schwartzman, K. Dunst, with the incredulous Jason Boesel (or Mosel, as he is credited) as the swanky bartender, and a certain Tennesse Thomas sitting like a mannequin in the background. Jason and Kirsten have the perfect 1960's kitsch of a Coppola(, Gia) romance. Their tactics worked because now I'm just itching to hit up the Opening Ceremony store on La Cienega.

When the Devil's Loose

I wore this Silence + Noise boustier, Elvis skirt (made by me), thigh-highs, and Marc Fisher shoes to see Nik Freitas and A.A. Bondy at The Echo in Echo Park, Los Angeles







Nik played with Rilo Kiley's Pierre de Reeder on bass, and A.A. Bondy was incredibly crush-worthy. I hope he comes back to California soon!




I even met Amanda Seyfried! She is so cool, beautiful, and very tiny.
Nikki and I went thrifting in the San Fernando Valley the next day.
